The Isle of Quel’danas releases 7/12/2024 on Area 52!
Storm the golden shores of Quel’danas: an island seeped in magic and mystery. Home to the Sunwell, the source of the Blood Elves magic, the island now stands as a bastion of the Legion. Kael’thas Sunstrider works to summon a malefic force to Azeroth: it’s up to you to stop him. Set off to the isle, band together with the Shattered Sun Offensive, and bring an end to the prince once and for all.
A Release in Two-Parts
The Isle of Quel’danas releases in two parts. The initial release features all daily quests, the Shattered Sun Offensive faction, reputation rewards, and the Magister’s Terrace.

New Quests Await
All Isle of Quel’danas daily quests are available right from day 1. These daily quests offer Gold, Reputation with the Shattered Sun Offensive, and Mystic Obs and Runes.
New Faction: The Shattered Sun Offensive
The Shattered Sun Offensive is a new faction introduced with the Isle of Quel’danas. Gain reputation through completing various daily quests and unlock the rewards they offer. This loot has been upgraded to be enticing for Classless Heroes. In particular, the necklaces that give a different effect depending on if you’re Exalted with either the Scryers or the Aldor: the Scryer one used to be pretty bad. Now it’s not.
The Magister’s Terrace
Face off against Kael’thas Sunstrider in the Magister’s Terrace: a new 5 man dungeon that takes you deep into the Sun King’s citadel on the isle.
The Magister’s Terrace features new, reworked creatures and bosses to give you an epic time storming its halls. Expect new threats, new mechanics, and new challenges as you face off against Kael’thas.
Additionally, the dungeon is fully scalable in Mythic+, so you can attempt it on multiple levels of difficulty. The rewards inside also scale up as you push deeper, allowing you to get even stronger versions of gear. This gear has additionally been reitimized to suit Ascension’s classless environment.

This is the first part of the Isle’s full release. As you ally with the Shattered Sun Offensive, take down Kael’thas, and outfit yourselves with new powerful gear, you’ll gather the strength to face down TBC’s ultimate raid.
Sunwell Plateau lies just on the horizon. Prepare for it, and bring the threat of the Legion to an end.
