Balance is an essential part of any game, but nobody likes it when their spec gets nerfed. Discovered in the Shimmering Flat salt mines, this brand new friend arrives on Ascension to help you out when abilities and talents have to get hit.

Introducing Gabril Mewell: a friendly little…

…uh. Hmm.

Gabriel Mewell, (GM for short) has a special power. He can reset your build when any ability or talent in it is nerfed, giving you back the scroll of fortunes you used in that specialization. You just have to bring him salt.

Basically, if any ability or talent in your build undergoes any balance changes. For example, if Seal of Command gets hit in your OwtL build, you can talk to GM to completely reset your build. 

Here’s how it works:

• Seek out to Gabril Mewell in Moonglade
• Give him your Salt (1x Salt)
• Confirm with exceeding confidence you would like to reset the build. (You have to be really, really, REALLY sure)
• He’ll take your salt and reset your entire build without resetting your level
• Also, he resets your Skill Cards so you can slot them again
• Then he gives back ALL of the Scrolls of Fortune you used in the build
  • IMPORTANT: Because of how reroll counters were handled before this implementation, this first set of nerfs will only be able to give back a portion of scrolls used, this is entirely due to technical reasons.
    • You will still get tons of scrolls, it just won’t be 100% for the balance changes that happened with chapter 2

Here are some more nitty gritty details:

• To make use of GM’s powers, you must have obtained the ability/talent before the nerf happened.
• Moving forward, he will refund 100% of all scrolls used in that specialization.
• Also note, he does not reset your scroll of fortune quest chain, because you are already getting those scrolls back by default.

Basically, GM gives you all of those scrolls without needing to level again: it resets your build and unlocks your skill cards, so you can keep gaming.
