Talent Capstones
Heroes!
Talent Essences are precious--they afford you one of the most decisive ways of customizing your Hero, and each one of them represents a powerful, tangible power boost to your Hero. Some of you spend your Essences improving your favorite Spells and Skills. Others spend them on bonuses that improve your Hero’s personal stats such as agility or intellect. Others invest in talents that cause interesting effects such as Nether Protection, Cheat Death, or Natural Perfection. However you spend them, they’re not to be spent lightly--each one is valuable, and wasting them could prove your downfall at the hands of a Hero who spent them well.
With hundreds of options to invest in, and so many powerful talents to choose, there’s a certain lackluster feeling to dropping a ton of talent essences into a single talent. Certain five point talents, and even three point talents, can feel necessary but underwhelming when you need to pick them. That of course begs the question: wouldn’t it be nice if investing in maxing out a talent came with certain benefits? What if, in spending the essences to fully max out a talent, you received an extra powerful bonus that made it worth investing in?
Introducing Talent Capstones!
Capstones are special bonuses that are unlocked when a talent is fully invested in. By maxing out a talent, you’ll receive additional benefits that make it worth investing all the way. The capstone will provide unique, exciting bonuses to your Hero--from increasing the strength of the spell to offering additional effects. Although not every talent will have a capstone, the capstones that do exist will make feel worth it when Heroes drop five precious talent essences into a single talent.
