You can now earn DP for creating content on Ascension! Introducing Content Creator Rewards.
This new experimental community aims to create more value in the Ascension ecosystem by rewarding you for making cool Ascension content. It’s super simple and open to everyone.

Make Content, Get Rewarded
Whether it’s entertaining or funny videos, shorts, build guides, articles on the Ascension Database, or whatever else you like making, the new Content Creator Discord makes sure you’re rewarded for it.
You can find all the information on the new Discord. Here’s a brief overview on how to get started:
Overview:
The goal of this program is to reward you for creating content and adding value to the Ascension community. Anyone can join the Discord, and everyone is invited to join and create content even if you haven’t ever made anything before.
- Get DP for making Ascension content:
- Full Videos uploaded to Youtube
- Shorts uploaded to Youtube or Tiktok
- Guides on https://db.ascension.gg/?guide=new
How to get Started:
- Produce a video and post it to the #submissions channel
- You’ll get the Creator tag once you do
- This will unlock the rest of the Discord
- This ensures that everyone can join, but creators have access to their own collaborative workspace
- You’ll earn a base amount of DP for each video you publish
- 5dp for Shorts
- 20dp for Full Videos
- A video over 8 minutes long
- 20dp for unique or improved guides on db.ascension.gg/
- Videos that provide exceptional value can earn bonus DP, up to a max of 300 based on the following parameters:
- Education Value
- Exceptional Production Quality
- Creativity, Originality, and Unique Content
- Narrative and Storytelling
- Community Engagement and Interaction
- Different Languages other than English
- The best content is stuff that educates, excites, and engages!
- You can earn the same bonus DP for Guides on the Ascension Database for:
- Original Guides that don’t already exist
- Or being vastly better than existing guides
- If you don’t have a channel, or you just want to share your work, you can submit your videos to be uploaded to Ascension’s social media for bonus DP
- These videos will always link to your page
- There will be curation and selection for what videos are published this way
Note: There will be discernment for videos and their quality to earn DP. Any attempts to cheese the system will not be given DP and could result in being excluded from the rewards.
Joining the Discord will even link you directly to members of Ascension’s video creation team, who can provide feedback on your videos if asked and help where possible.
This is just the start of this community rewards system, and there will be more work done based on the results and your feedback to look for ways to prop up and help Ascension content creators.
