Season 7 launches in less than 3 days. Heroes the world over are theorycrafting their draft builds, plotting their leveling routes, and steeling themselves for the battles that they’ll inevitably encounter. Today, you’ve got another way to prepare for Season 7’s launch: introducing the Ethereal Courier:
Malik, the Ethereal Courier, can transport vanity items from Area 52 through the aether to the brand new Season 7 realm! With his help, you can send vanity items like the Book of Ascension, Feather of the Ancients, Mounts, Cosmetic attire, and weapon transmogs over the arcane currents to arrive directly into your collections on the Season 7 realm.
Here’s how it works:
- Acquire an unbound vanity item
- Only items that are not already attached to a soul can survive the trip through the aether.
- Seek out the Ethereal Courier
- In major cities
- The Vanity Item is sent directly from Area 52 to Al'ar, the Season 7 realm
- The Vanity Item is immediately added to your Vanity Collection, binding it to your account
- Heroes cannot trade items sent to Season 7
- Enjoy your new item!
The Ethereal Courier will be available pending the next server restart
The Ethereal Courier allows you to transfer Vanity Items to the seasonal realm safely without having to rely on less tried and true methods of aetherial transfer. Additionally, the system allows Heroes to grab their preferred vanity items and also sell spare vanity items to seasonal players, making inter-realm item transactions safe, smooth, and reliable. Finally, it also allows Heroes on Area 52 to use the gold they otherwise wouldn’t have on Seasonal, purchasing items from the Auction House unbound and sending them through the Twisting Nether to arrive safely on Season 7, where they’ll get some use.
The Ethereal Courier is active pending the next server restart on 8/3, on Area 52--so grab what you need and prepare to dive into Season 7!
