The next Felforged Invasion is alive and kicking, and two big draft changes are here to shake up Season 7. To celebrate, we’re launching a +30% Bonus EXP and x3 DP event alongside these updates. Check it out:
Draft Mode Changes:
Two big draft mode changes are here to shake up the way you can build your Heroes. The goal of these changes is to continue to increase the number of builds Heroes can play on Draft, and the consistency with which Heroes can play them.
- The soft-cap for Epic Skills has increased to 8
Heroes will now be able to have up to 8 epic skills on their champion before running into the decreased chance to draft Epic Skills. This should help make builds that require multiple epic skills more accessible.
- The chance of drafting talent abilities has greatly increased
In line with the above paradigm, many builds and play styles require talent abilities to work, and these abilities are typically seen less in Draft Mode. A recent change has increased the likelihood that you’ll see talent abilities when drafting skills. This should help open up builds that need many talent abilities to succeed, as well as allow players to polish their current builds with strong talent abilities.
Felforged Invasion
The gateway to the Twisting Nether opens once again! Starting Friday, November 12th and lasting 5 days, join the Burning Legion in November’s Felforged Invasion Event!

With this invasion comes a huge change to Felforged Mode:
Heroes now receive SOULS each time they level up or level down in Felforged Mode.
Just like Fel Power, Felforged Heroes now receive souls for every level they achieve. When you die, you’ll earn bonus souls on top of what you earned while leveling, and you can spend them on cosmetics, progression, or convenience items! This change ensures that all Felforged Heroes make constant progress towards rewards, making sure that as long as you’re raining hellfire on Azeroth, you’re proving your worth to the Legion.
Quick miscellaneous change: the experience gained from slaying other players in Felforged Mode has been increased, so taking out other Heroes is a great way to level fast and prove your loyalty to the Legion!
Bonus Weekend
Finally, Heroes, November’s bonus weekend. Starting now and lasting through Sunday, November 14th, you can take advantage of:
- +30% Bonus Experience
- x3 DP
This bonus EXP affects all heroes on all realms, meaning whether you’re Felforged, Normal, or Prestige, you can level fast and get your champions powered up!
