With an overwhelming majority of the population voting for a Felforged Auction House, we’re happy to announce the Twisting Nether Auction House is live!
The Felforged Auction House
- Available only to Felforged Heroes
- Felforged will not see items from the Horde/Alliance Auction Houses or Vice versa
- Find it in the Twisting Nether
- Makes Gold more valuable to Felforged and allows you to progress easier
- Get gold, gear up before your next descent to Azeroth
- Gives Felforged Mode a Roguelite-style Meta Progression
- Collecting gold makes it easier to gear up when starting a new run
- Trade equipment, mystic enchantments, consumables, materials, etc.
Becoming a Felforged Champion is risky business--you reset to level 20 and drop everything when you die, and although it’s a chance to get a new, better build, you still lose a lot in the process. With Felforged Mode essentially being a roguelite WoW experience, it would be nice to have the ability to gear up quickly before your next playthrough: enter the Felforged Auction House!
The Felforged Auction House is a new Felforged-Hero-specific Auction House (it does not connect to the main auction house; Felforged heroes are still unable to exchange items with normal players) that will allow champions of the Legion to spend their gold and gear up quick for their next playthrough. It will allow Felforged Heroes to trade Mystic Enchantments, equipment, materials, and essentially transform Gold into a meta-progression resource for Felforged Heroes.
Gold isn’t dropped on death as a Felforged, and because of that, it’s one of the things worth collecting over your multiple lives that can help improve ALL of your Felforged Challenge Runs. With the new Felforged Auction House, you can collect gold to improve your runs to Azeroth, gearing up fast or selling what you steal to advance.
The Felforged Auction House will feature consumable items, gear, and other things typically dropped on death in this mode. You will not be able to post core progression items like Felforged Riding--Heroes will have to make their runs and collect souls to access these!
The goal of this Auction House is to improve the Roguelite nature of Felforged Mode, allowing Heroes to collect gold and spend it to improve their runs through Azeroth.
