A Chest Worth Dying For
Heroes of Laughing Skull!
Legend tells of an Orcish warrior who craved the thrill of battle. He wandered the land, seeking riches and combat from all who he encountered. Piece by piece, duel by duel, he stripped his foes of treasure and gold and gear, taking it for himself and hoarding it away. Eventually, his wanderings brought him to the gates of Stormwind, where he flung himself headlong into mortal combat. There, in the Trade District, he met his end.
Many heroes fell to his blade, and in his honor, this Cache was created. To remember the events he hosted--to give others a chance at his legacy: introducing Crow’s Cache.
Treasure Awaits
Crow’s Cache is a treasure chest containing all manner of treasure: guaranteed Epics and Dungeon Blues to start, then some potential rare materials, herbs, ore, lockboxes, tomes, and Mystic Runes and Orbs. Every so often, it will spawn in the world, granting its riches to any adventurer brave enough to snatch it. Thirty minutes before it does, a notification will be sent out to the world. One cache will spawn in Kalimdor, and one on the Eastern Kingdoms. A notification will appear on your map, and a message on your screen will appear in red text. This is your signal, heroes; the hunt has begun.
Travel the world, find Crow’s Cache, and snatch up the treasure found within. But be warned: the chest has a long open time, and you will not be alone in your hunt. Should you succeed, you, like Crow, may just obtain the tools to become a legend.
Crow’s Cache is one of MANY new events we’ll be bringing to high-risk realms to solidify the open world experience.
