Heroes,
The Magister’s Terrace revamp arrives on both Elune and Area 52 on April 10th, and the Sunwell Plateau releases on Elune on April 12th!
Magisters’ Terrace Returns
Sequestered away on the Isle of Quel’danas lies the Magisters’ Terrace: the citadel of Kael’thas Sunstrider, now a servant of the legion. This iconic dungeon, once removed from LFG and Mythic+ due to its difficulty, now reopens its doors—and this time, you're the reckoning.
A revamped Magisters’ Terrace returns to both Elune and Area 52 on April 10th @ 18:00 Server Time. (Check Announcement for your local time).
Magisters' Terrace stands as one of TBC's most iconic dungeons, offering encounters and mechanics unlike any other. Its distinctive boss fights, memorable environment, and unique challenges set it apart from other dungeons. Now it stands as a unique encounter, joining the ranks of Karazhan Crypts with a lockout and improved loot, meaning you can brave its halls once per day to fight for powerful rewards.
The treasures awaiting within Magister's Terrace have been completely upgraded to match the extraordinary experience it provides. Expect rewards equivalent to Mythic+ 40 gear, providing a crucial power source for heroes preparing to face Kil'jaeden himself.
Summary:
- MGT was too spicy for LFG
- It outpaced other dungeons in M+ difficulty due to its unique encounters.
- But it’s too beloved to be lost forever
- MGT gets a revamp on both Elune and Area 52
