Some BIG September updates are coming this weekend, and to celebrate, we’re starting up a x3 DP and +30% EXP event! Starting right now and lasting through Sunday, September 19th, you can grab triple the normal amount of DP, and level 30% faster across all realms! Whether you’re finishing your climb to level cap, prestige, or starting a brand new character, now’s the time to shoot through levels!

New Mythic Affixes

Four brand new affixes are coming to Mythic+ to challenge Heroes and provide deadly new fun. We won’t spoil too much, but here are the upcoming additions:

• Fortitude
  • The health and damage of this minion is increased by a percent.
• Lifesteal
  • Drains life on hit, duh.
• Pack Tactics
  • Empowers nearby allies with bonus damage dealt and reduced damage taken, and increases with the number of nearby allies
• Corpse Explosion
  • The target explodes on death, dealing a percentage of its maximum health as damage and drenching nearby targets in Corpse Juice.

Skill Card Buyback

Accidentally recycle the wrong Skill Card? Ameer, the recovery NPC, can now restore your recycled Skill Cards! Using gold, Heroes can now use Ameer to buy back Skill Cards they may have accidentally traded away, meaning you no longer have to resign yourself to sad emojis when you keep the wrong card in your last bag slot. 

Important Notes: 

• Recovered cards cannot be used for future Exchanges. 
• These are only to recover a card you intend to use. If you do not see a card you know you exchanged, this means you already have another of this same card in your inventory.
• At first these will only support the last 16 skillcards, but we plan to add pagination to see further back in your Exchange history.

Skill Card Upgrading

Draft Heroes, rejoice! Coming this week, the Professor of Playing Cards, Thaddeus Paleo, now has the option to upgrade your Skill Cards! Just like a real trading card game, you can now trade in unwanted cards of ONE rarity for a single card of a Higher Rarity!

• Normal Exchange: 10 Uncommons → 1 Rare
• Normal Exchange: 10 Rare → 1 Epic
• Golden Exchange: 10 Uncommons → 1 Rare
• Golden Exchange: 10 Rare → 1 Epic

This allows Heroes to hold onto uncommon and rare cards to transform into higher rarity Skill Cards if they choose. Trade away!

Uncommon Quality Cards

Also this coming weekend week, A new draft rarity, Uncommon, hits the scene! This brand new Green Rarity splits up the Rare pool, moving some less powerful Rare skills into the uncommon category so that Heroes can have more of both! This opens up new draft build possibilities, and completes the rainbow colors on Draft Cards from green all the way through orange, which we think is pretty cool.

Kazzak

Kazzak comes to Al’ar! Much like a phoenix, this demon is hard to put down--he spawns in both High Risk and No Risk, and you’ll have to fight not only the beast himself, but any rival guilds that want to take his spoils for themselves. Kazzak’s loot is BoE, meaning even if you don’t need those incredible, sexy purple items, you should probably get them anyway for the sheer sake of avarice.
