Tempest Keep Unleashed

A tempest gathers on the outskirts of Netherstorm: a deadly foe is unleashed! Kael’thas Sunstrider, lord of the Blood Elves, is now here to face you. Once a bastion for the enigmatic Naaru in their quest to defeat the Burning Legion, Tempest Keep now serves as the base of Kael’thas as he siphons mana and power from Netherstorm. Get prepared to face him down, Heroes: but be warned--Tempest Keep has a brand new coat of paint! Here’s what you need to know:
Tempest Keep emerges as a completely retuned and rescripted experience! With massive upgrades from the classic version of this raid, Ascension’s version of Tempest Keep will be completely polished from the ground up with a focus on custom mechanics. With hundreds of hours of development put in, you can expect brand new fights against the bosses you love, new spells, new custom visuals, and a total overhaul of this iconic TBC raid.

Release Dates
- Flex Normal and Flex Heroic
- December 18th 18:00 Server Time.
- Will not require attunement to enter.
- Ascended Release Date will be posted some time after the New Year.
- Will have its own release date and article.
- Every hero should have time to prepare and gather every necessary resource to take down Ascended Tempest Keep.
Tier Set Bonuses Return
Tier Sets have been iconic to the game since their implementation; whether it be for their flashy looks or for their powerful set-bonus effect(s). Returning in tier 5 you will be able to re-experience hand curated & augmented set-bonus effects with amazing power that will Ascend any of the Classes’ Boundary. Combine these set effects with some Mystic Enchantments and you will truly be able to establish a unique identity to your hero. Here are some examples:
Paladin (Retribution)
2 Set Bonus
Increases your spell damage by 15% of your Strength.
4 Set Bonus
Your magic damage spells and abilities have a chance to Condemn the target, dealing Holy damage and increasing your Strength by 10% for 10 seconds. This effect can only occur once every 15 seconds
Priest (Holy)
2 Set Bonus
Increases your healing done by 3% while your mana is above 75%.
4 Set Bonus
When you bring a target to full health with a direct heal you gain 20% of Spirit as spell power and 8% critical effect chance for your next 3 heals. This effect can only occur once every 12 seconds.
Rogue
2 Set Bonus
Your melee critical strikes increase your expertise rating by 2, stacking up to 20 times. This effect lasts for 4 seconds.
4 Set Bonus
Using any combo-point-finisher has a 33% chance to lethally poison the target, increasing all damage they take from you by 10% (5% to players) for 8 seconds.
Warlock
2 Set Bonus
Increases your Shadow spell damage by 35 and your chance to critically strike with Fire spells by 3%.
4 Set Bonus
Your periodic damage effects have a chance to trigger Pandemonium, increasing your damage dealt to the target by 10% (5% to players) and dealing Chaos damage over 8 seconds. Chaos damage is a combination of all magic schools, and will benefit from the highest modifier to either school.
High risk (Tempest Keep)
With Tempest Keep’s release, High Risk Heroes can look forward to their Treasure Hunting buff upgrading! With the raid’s release, Heroes will be able to obtain Bloodforged Tempest Keep gear!
