With Season 7 Chapter 2 right around the corner, many new Draft Heroes are leaping into Ascension. Here’s an overview of the system for anyone who needs a bit of guidance mastering the system:

What is Draft Mode?
Draft Mode is a Challenge Mode unique to Ascension. Rather than choosing your abilities, Draft Heroes instead uncover a completely unique build by choosing 1 of 3 skills every 2 levels. As you level up and discover new combos, your task is to make your unique build shine as you dive into Dungeons, Raids, Battlegrounds, and more.
Can I Improve my Draft Build?
Heroes aren’t stuck with the skills they Draft! You can reroll unwanted skills with Hands of Fate: an item obtainable through completing daily quests at Silas Darkmoon in major cities. This lets Heroes refine their Draft Build and discover new combinations.
Heroes can also Prestige to roll a completely new build! This gives you options to how you’d like to improve your Draft Hero. Play the way you want!
Rarities
All spells in Draft Mode have a rarity, ranging from Uncommon to Legendary. Epic and Legendary skills are the most difficult to pull, but if you see one you’ll know it’s a strong skill. However, choosing an Epic or Legendary skills makes it less likely to see that rarity in the future, so choose your skills wisely!
Skill Cards
After hitting max level, Heroes unlock Skill Cards: powerful items that let you stack the deck on a level 1 Hero to GUARANTEE abilities! Skill Cards let you shape your draft Hero, choosing your foundation and letting you discover different builds and combos while keeping your base skills. You can have 2 Normal and 2 Golden Skill Cards, for a total of 4 abilities completely in your control. Use Skill Cards to steer your Hero in a direction while still enjoying the thrill of uncovering new abilities!
Prestige
Many Heroes seek to refine their Draft Build through Multiple incarnations. Prestige Mode lets you reset your Hero to level 1 to draft a completely new build and have another go at an even more powerful Hero! Additionally, you keep your skill cards through multiple prestiges, so if you’re looking to get the best version of your Shadow Frost Warlock build with a Blue Dragon, you can prestige to do it! It also gives you a chance to explore new content like dungeons, battlegrounds, and open world areas.
