Charge into Warcraft Reborn on a brand new character and challenge Hardcore Mode: a death-defying 1-life challenge where you either make it to level cap or die.
This event invites everyone to come together and participate in the same Hardcore Trial. Group up with other adventurers, challenge deadly foes, and climb to level cap to earn massive rewards:
Here’s how it works:
- Create a NEW Character on Bronzebeard and join this limited time 1 month event
- Group up with other adventurers, journey across Azeroth, and level up!
- Reach level cap and claim MASSIVE rewards
Completing this Trial within the month on a new character will award a staggering
- 500,000 Runes of Ascension
- THESE RUNES ARE TRADEABLE TO ANY CHARACTER ON YOUR ACCOUNT.

Hardcore Mode
Hardcore Mode is a special Hardcore 1-Life Trial. Once you accept it, you’re bound to the following:
- One Life to Live
- If you die, you fail the challenge
- Your character is not lost on death
- Trade, Group, Quest, and adventure ONLY with other Hardcore Players
- Character Restrictions
- No Auction House
- No Guild Bank
- No Realm Bank
- No Arena Queue
- No Battleground Queue
- No Dungeon Finder
- Challenge exclusive trading
- No Mail
To activate Hardcore Mode, speak to the Trial Master in your starting zone at level 1. You can find the Trial Master close to where you awaken on your adventure. Accept the trial and lock in.
