Ascension’s New Bug-Tracker is now Online

The developers of Ascension, and our staff as a whole, have always been committed to providing you with a deeply satisfying return to World of Warcraft. Our ambition is and will always be to give you one hell of a good game. With the addition of new team members--Developers, QA testers, Gamemasters, and more--our job becomes at once more easy. New members means more hands to fix problems as they arise, and having a flexible system in place means that each piece of the puzzle is working smoothly.
We’re proud to announce a huge buff to that system; a buff to both staff and player contribution to the welfare of Ascension:
Our new Bug-Tracker is live.
Ascension’s new Bug-Tracker is an absolute beast--a ground-up overhaul of the previous system. Using this tracker, players and staff both will be able to file reports that shoot straight to our internal systems. Most of the tech is behind the scenes, but the tracker will automatically alert staff that can fix the problem, allow them to index it, prioritize it, and deal with it swiftly and effectively.
How it Works
If you’ve found a bug with Project Ascension, it’s never been easier to get it taken care of. The new tracker has the following features:
- Streamlined for quicker player reports
- Integrated into Ascension’s base website - not a third party. This means that players won’t have any issue logging in with their Ascension Account.
- A vote feature, so that players can have a say in the priority of any given bug (Thumbs up/down)
- Allows for direct database links from WoW databases
- The new bug-tracker allows you to add pictures to your reports
- We plan on adding the ability to make Private Reports in the near future.
The new Bug-Tracker is a game changer for quick, fast reports and fixes. We’re excited for the quality of life this new tracker is going to bring. We’re counting on you, Heroes, to help us find and squash the remaining bugs on Project Ascension!
