Fel energy pulses through Gul’dan (haha), and in just two short days, League 2 is headed to Outland: Gul’dan enters TBC this Saturday, May 15th!
Now is the time to take your last few steps to level 60 and gear up for the chaos of Launch Day. And to help you prepare, we’re launching you toward Outland with a massive x2 EXP event!
Get Prepared!
Starting right now and lasting through the weekend, heroes across all realms can look forward to x2 bonus EXP in AZEROTH ONLY! This extends to all realms, so if you’re eager to level a new character, start a Wildcard adventure, or even step into Area 52 for Free Pick, there’s never been a better time to do it. With x2 EXP, leveling has never felt better.
Level up fast and try the following before TBC goes live:
- Gear up to launch into TBC
- Prepare for the chaos of Day 1 Hellfire Peninsula
- Master your Wildcard Champion
- Collect Vanilla Transmog pieces
- Gear up to jump straight into TBC dungeons!
x3 DP is live!
In addition to x2 EXP, the pre-launch event means x3 DP through the whole weekend! Got your eye on a new Cosmetic item? Need a Potion of Experience to blast through Azeroth faster? You’re totally covered with x3 DP. Throughout the entire bonus EXP weekend, you can grab triple the normal DP when you shop at the Ascension store. Whether you’re looking to grab a mount, an outfit, or one of the cool looking new back items, x3 DP is here to help you get it!

Race to Level 70
Don’t buy that EXP potion just yet! Though it’ll help boost you through Azeroth, keep in mind that the race to level 70 is SACRED! Until a Hero of each race reaches level 70, no EXP bonuses, boosts, Recruit a Friend, Aura of EXP, Tradesman Scrolls, Riding Tomes, or other things that might help you zip to 70 are locked!
That means it’s a fair race to 70, and you can get in on the action to snag titles, rewards, and WORLD FIRST ACHIEVEMENTS!

As you charge into TBC, and even as you finish leveling in Azeroth, you can check out the INCREDIBLE updates put out over the first half of the month:
- NEW Raid Difficulty: Ascension Mode
- A brand new challenge for 10 and 25 man Raids

- Removed the Bloodstained debuff from Flex Raids
- Heroes can now use Bloodforged gear in Flex Raids without penalty, however:
- Added a new debuff in its place that is only visible to the person with the debuff. This debuff explains why you shouldn't wear pvp gear in a raid and explains the penalties in further raids.

Felforged Updates
For the first time on Ascension, Felforged Mode comes to TBC!
Get ready to join the Legion and make THIS TBC Launch a REAL Burning Crusade! As Gul’dan moves into Outland, Felforged Heroes will also be able to enter TBC. Not only that, but some amazing felforged updates are also coming with TBC’s launch:
- 15 new tiers of challenges including new exclusive challenges for those who dare brave the adventure. (Up to 25 Tiers Total)
- Outland will feature Fel Caches exclusively for Felforged.
- New Outland quests that will challenge even the best of the best.
- New Soul Rewards
- Felforged players can que for battlegrounds and arenas.
- You won't lose your build nor gear upon dying in a BG, slay as long as you like!
- Felforged players can purchase specific Golden Skill Cards from Silas Darkmoon. The catch is, you must have that ability learned to purchase that Golden Skill Card.
