Elemental Invasion Overhaul
Heroes,
The Elemental Lords stir in their planes, sending harbingers of their coming throughout Azeroth. This is no small skirmish: this is an invasion. Their minions are stronger, their generals fiercer, than they have ever been before, and when they arrive, they shake the earth itself. Prepare yourselves, heroes: the Elemental Invasions have begun.
Every few days, Elemental Invaders will appear around Azeroth--Earth in Azshara, Water in Winterspring, Fire in Ungoro, and Wind in Silithus. At a special location on the map, these invaders will tear into the mortal plane, announcing their presence to everyone in the zone. These elementals have a huge drop rate of Mystic Orb Shards, making them an extremely competitive place to farm Mystic Orbs in the world. Be warned, however: These elementals will have increased HP, and will be accompanied by a boss monster.
These boss monsters have additionally increased HP, and an equally massive chance to drop orb shards. In addition, on Laughing Skull, bosses have a guaranteed chance to drop a dungeon blue and an epic loot.
Finally, we’ve adjusted the invasion event to differ slightly from its original design. Instead of all monsters vanishing when the boss is slain, they will persist for the full length of their invasion, allowing them to be farmed by any adventurer brave enough to remain out in the world.
But be warned, heroes; there will be others looking to steal your treasures.
