  • …more on the horizon

Mythic 11-15 Unlocked

Charge into the next level of Mythic+. Face off against greater danger and stronger foes to earn EPIC rewards. Mythic+ Levels 11-15 release on 3/22!

Mythic+ dungeons allow you to dive into your favorite vanilla dungeons to find more powerful versions of classic loot. It’s a massive way to increase itemization and customize your class and find exactly what you need to reach the heights of power.

On Warcraft Reborn, you’re not limited to just high-end raid items when it comes to finding the gear you need: discover stronger versions of ANY Dungeon item in the game using Mythic+.

Imagine slicing through foes at light-speed as you combine the extra sword strikes of your Rogue’s Hack and Slash or Warrior’s Sword Specialization with a Mythic+ Hand of Justice. Or what about using the unique proc effect from the Blade of Eternal Darkness to empower every single strike of your Arcane Missiles? Mythic+ gives you unlimited options when it comes to experimenting with and powering up your class on Warcraft Reborn: as you delve into deeper Mythic+ dungeons, you can continue to upgrade your gear as long as you want it, meaning infinite possibilities to shine.

But to earn these powerful items, you’ll need to face down greater danger: introducing Mythic Champions.

Mythic Champions

When you reach Mythic+ 14, you’ll begin encountering Champions: powerful enemies supercharged with a unique rotating affix. These creatures roam the halls of their respective dungeon, and you MUST seek out and destroy them in order to clear the Dungeon! Before you engage, take a look at the Champion’s unique Champion Affix: it will determine how you fight to take him down. At higher levels of Mythic+, Champions will gain stronger and even multiple affixes to make your dungeons exciting and new at every level.

Expanded Mythic+ Dungeon Loot

With the release of Warcraft Reborn, Mythic+ expanded to encompass items from earlier dungeons: not only are you finding classic high-end dungeon items like Ironfoe or the Briarwood Reed, but you can even find Mythic+ versions of early dungeon items like the Ravager from Scarlet Armory, Blackened Defias Armor from Deadmines, and Odo’s Lay Staff from Shadowfang Keep. This commits to massively expanding the ways you can gear up and customize your unique champion as you master your class and power up.

Mythic Coin and Cache Increase

With the release of Mythic+ 11-15, the Mythic Coin and Mythic Cache cap increaseNow you can grab even more rewards as you dominate deeper levels of Mythic+.

Additionally, you can better search for items you want using Mythic Recycling. When you recycle a Mythic Item you don’t want for extra Mythic Coins, you guarantee that you will not see that item again in Mythic Caches you open for a long-ass time. Use this to search for Mythic Items you want.

Heroic World Bosses

Surge into the Open World, unite with huge groups of other adventurers, and challenge colossal World Bosses: world-shaking enemies that can crush your group in a single stomp. If you can defeat them, Heroic Treasure is yours to claim: Heroic World Bosses are on the horizon!

3/21 - Heroic Dragons of Nightmare

Once keepers of the Emerald Dream, Lethon, Emeriss, Ysondre, and Taerar kept watch over portals to the mortal realm. Now corrupted by the Nightmare, they seek to spread corruption across all who dwell in Azeroth. It is up to you to slay each and restore peace to the Green Flight.

Each of the 4 Dragons of Nightmare have a Heroic mode with their own unique mechanics. Defeat them and spare Azeroth their wrath.

3/28 - Heroic Snowgrave

Savage cold sweeps from the mountains of Winterspring, covering the world in a deathly frost. Snowgrave, First of the Frost Giants, returns to his domain. Venture deep into the heart of Winterspring to seek out this completely original World Boss and end his reign before eternal winter engulfs the world.

Snowgrave is a unique, deadly encounter where you’ll fight both the boss and the environment in your struggle to survive.

4/04 - Heroic Atal’Zul

The stench of corpses rises from the Eastern Plaguelands. A sickening wind drifts over the ruins of Zul’Mashar: Atal’Zul, the Soulreaver, gathers his rotting army in the northern hills of Eastern Plaguelands. Face down hordes of zombie trolls, avoid noxious poisons and black magic, and prepare for a fight against the spirits of death and decay.

Atal’zul is a completely custom fight featuring unique mechanics and offering completely new treasure.

Challenge Each on Heroic Difficulty

You can challenge all three World Bosses on Heroic difficulty by facing them in their PvE Instanced Version. To do so, speak to their unique shrine located near the original location of the World Boss. Enter with your allies into the boss’s lair and face a heroic, stronger version of the boss that scales to your 10-40 man group.

If you can take down a World Boss on Heroic difficulty, you’ll find Heroic versions of World Boss items. This ensures that world bosses continue to be relevant, challenging, and rewarding as the realm continues! Look forward to even greater difficulties to come.

Additionally, the Open World PvPvE versions of World Bosses will begin dropping Heroic versions of their gear when slain (no difficulty increase).

PvE Instanced Version

  • Challenge World Bosses that scale between 10 to 40 players.
  • Instanced - Tuned for PvE
  • Stronger than their Open World counterparts, making the instanced Boss Fights a more intense challenge.
  • 7 day loot lockout for each boss.
  • Will receive multiple levels of difficulty over time, similar to Dungeons and Raids so that you can tackle these foes at multiple challenge levels (Heroic coming with this update!)
  • A Boss Shrine nearby will allow you to access Instanced World Bosses at any time near the original spawn of the World Boss

PvPvE Open World Version

  • Traditional Open World boss fight
  • Tuned for PvPvE: challenge other groups of adventurers to tag the world boss (or steal it from another group!) and claim its spoils.
  • Boss awards loot to the group who has the tag whenever it dies
  • Respawns on their normal spawn timer at the locations you remember in the Open World.
  • No Loot Lockout
  • Loot upgraded to Heroic with this update (Setis only at first, more bosses coming over time)
  • No difficulty increase

Make sure to set your Raid Difficulty to Heroic before entering the boss’s lair.

A Call to Arms - Alterac Valley Unleashed

Raging wind whips from the peaks of Alterac! The valley howls with the thrum of battle. War rages between the Frostwolf Clan and Stormpike Guard, and for the first time ever on Ascension, you can join the fight.

Alterac Valley arrives on Warcraft Reborn!

  • Alterac Valley releases 4/3
  • Completely re-mastered for Cross-Faction Play
  • Scales from a minimum of 20v20 to a maximum of 40v40
  • Available only during weekend Call to Arms events

This iconic battleground joins the roster of BG’s as a unique, Call to Arms only Battlegrounds Event: it will only be available during Call to Arms weekend events, and only when AV is randomly chosen as that weekend’s Call to Arms battleground: so when you see it, leap in and wage all-out war!

Alterav Valley has been completely rebuilt to scale with the number of players on each side: you’ll wage war in at least a 20v20 fight, all the way up to massive 40v40 battles.

All quests and objectives inside the valley have been reworked to ensure everything functions in Ascension’s Cross-Faction ecosystem, with all of the greatest aspects of AV ready for you to tackle: capture bunkers, take down bosses, claim graveyards, collect materials, summon avatars of destruction, and of course thunderstorm foes off of bridges as you storm your way to the enemy keep. Amass honor, complete new achievements, go fishing, and dominate the competition in Azeroth’s most iconic Battleground of all time.

The cold chill of Alterac beckons, adventurer: answer the call and claim victory in Alterac Valley!

Enter the Blood Bowl

Leap through the verdant jungles of Stranglethorn Vale and make your way towards the bloody pits of Gurubashi to discover a savage, gladiator event: the Blood Bowl! This gladiator competition challenges ALL adventurers to leap into the Gurubashi Arena for the change at epic rewards.

Here’s how the event works:

  • Seek out the Gurubashi Arena
    • You’ll find the arena outfitted with brand new amenities..
  • Jump into the Arena and get ready to brawl!
  • Once in the pit, you’ll gain the Gladiator Buff: once attacked by another player, you two are locked in a merciless 1v1 fight to the death
  • Slay another player in a 1v1 and you’ll receive a stack of Gladiator
  • Slay multiple players in 1v1 combat and amass stacks of Gladiator
  • At the end of the competition, the player with the most stacks on their Gladiator Buff is crowned the WINNER and receives a chest of EPIC spoils.

Each time you win a 1v1 inside the Gurubashi Arena, you’ll gain a stack of Gladiator. But if you lose a fight or leave the Arena for any reason, you’ll lose ALL stacks of your buff and be forced out of the arena. You can then leap in and try again, continuing as long as the event is active.

The winner is the fighter who stays in the pit the longest, wins the most 1v1 fights, and dominates the competition.

Spectator Rewards

But what fun is a blood sport without spectators?

Even if you don’t participate in the fighting, you can get rewards just for watching and enjoying the show! EVERYONE who shows up whether they’re fighting or just watching the brawl will receive 2500 Runes of Ascension even if you just show up and do nothing but watch the battles!

  • Fight and be the stars of the show
  • Watch and get rewards just for enjoying the blood bowl

Prepare for the ultimate challenge of grueling 1v1 fights: can you beat challenger after challenger with limited time to recover before each fight? Or will you fall to the greater duelist?

You’ll see an announcement go out in chat before the Blood Bowl is about to begin. Once you see it, make your way to STV and get ready to brawl.

The Blood Bowl is a limited time event, so prove your strength while it lasts and bring home the spoils of war.

Raid TrIAls Begin

Raids on Bronzebeard have 4 difficulties: Normal, Heroic, Mythic, and Ascended. Each difficulty proves more difficult, more grueling, than the last, and each one earns you stronger and better rewards.

But what if you want to go even further beyond? What if your guild seeks more brutal challenges, a more savage difficulty beyond what even Ascended can provide? What if you want to don the most exclusive, badass cosmetic sets of all time? What if you just want to prove you’re the absolute best?

Raid Trials arrive on Warcraft Reborn on April 10th at 18:00 Server Time.

What are Raid Trials?

Raid Trials are for the absolutely insane adventurers that want to push past Ascended Difficulty into even more brutal challenges. Raid Trails give you full control over the difficulty of your raid: starting with level 1, the entire raid will get harder by a percentage including based damage and health increase for monsters, as well as a percentage based healing reduction for players.

Raid Trials progress linearly: like Mythic+, you’ll need to complete level 1 before unlocking level 2 and so on. Only one member of your team needs to have the level unlocked–so as long as one person in your party has completed Molten Core on level 2, your entire group can attempt Molten Core on level 3.

On release, every raid will have three levels of Raid Trials. You can progress through Raid Trials at your pace: there’s no limit or weekly reset, and you can attempt as many times as you want. You won’t get repeat boss loot on additional lockouts, though.

How do I Activate Raid Trials?

Raid Trials can only be accessed inside of Ascended raids. To activate them, set your Raid Difficulty to Ascended, enter the Raid you want to challenge and open the Trial UI. From there, set the difficulty and earn bonus rewards for your raid team. You must be the raid leader to activate Raid Trials.

Rewards

As you complete Raid Trials, you’ll earn epic and even exclusive rewards: each Raid has unique cosmetic rewards as well as its own Leaderboard: this means you can show off your prowess by claiming the #1 spot across multiple raids.

First, Raid Trials offer bonus Runes of Ascension the first time you complete a levelEach repeat completion will earn you half as much.

  • Completing any level 1 Raid Trial for the first time will net you 25,000 Runes of Ascension.
  • Completing any level 3 Raid Trial for the first time will net you 50,000 Runes of Ascension.

You can claim the first completion for every individual raid.

Second, completing a level for the first time also awards an Ascended Raid Cache that is positively loaded with gear. Zul’Gurub, Molten Core, and Onyxia’s Lair will drop an ascended

Third, clearing successive levels of Raid Trials unlocks different pieces of an exclusive cosmetic set based on that raid. There’s a cosmetic set for Zul’gurub, Molten Core, Onyxia, etc. Collect the full set and show everyone that you’re absolutely insane (with raw skill).

Fourth, finishing a Raid Trial awards you a number of Triumphant Raider Tokens equal to the level you completedyou’ll get 1 token for completing a level 1 Raid Trial, 5 for completing a level 5 trial, 10 for a level 10, etc. These tokens can be exchanged at Mazoga Museda for exclusive cosmetic rewards. The Raid Trial Vendor will expand as more raids are released.

You can redeem Triumphant Raider Tokens inside the Stormwind Keep or inside of Thrall's Throne room.

Finally, the First Guild who achieves a Realm First on ZG, Ony or MC on Trial Level 3 will be inserted into the Hall of Legends, an exclusive Leaderboard on Ascension’s official Discord. These realm firsts will be broadcast to the Entire Realm.

Raid Trials will test the Original 9 Classes in a way they’ve never been challenged before. Gather your allies, don your best equipment, and set off into Raid Trials.

New World Boss: Kaldros Depthbreaker

The ruins of Feralas stand as a testament to the folly of pride: of greed and a lust for power. But not all learned from the Highborn’s destruction, and the naga are not the only creatures lurking beneath the waves. An ancient entity seeks the power to drown all of Kalimdor beneath the sea. Seek out its lair and destroy the threat. Permanently.

Kaldros Depthbreaker, a new World Boss, arrives on 4/11! The boss will release with both Normal and Heroic Difficulty available.

Sink beneath the waves to discover a sunken Highborn temple, then navigate the caverns beyond. Will you find the strength to overcome Kaldros in his lair, or drown in silence beneath the sea?

You can face Kaladros both as an Open World boss and in his new custom Arena.
