Toadally Awesome
Heroes,
Toads are traditionally characterized by dry, leathery skin, short legs, and large bumps around their body. Contrary to popular belief, however, science makes no distinction between frogs and toads. People often find it popular to make distinctions between frogs and toads--this is known as folk taxonomy. The claim tends to be that toads inhabit more rugged, drier terrain, while frogs tend towards wetter, more moist environments. Truth be told, however, there is no scientific backing to these claims--toads, or the animals commonly known as toads, are merely species of frogs.
